Conductive Silicone | Standard or Custom Grades from the UK
Using specific fillers, Primasil have developed a range of compounds with a volume resistivity as low as 003 ohmcm-1.
Dependant on grade, these materials can be moulded, extruded, or calendered. They are frequently used in electromagnetic shielding and for the prevention of build up of static charge.

Carbon (PR610 series)
This grade is the least conductive grade (although, with values for tailored grades that can be as low as 1 Ohm/cm, it is still one of the best carbon grades available on the market). It is typically used for low-end shielding or ESD protection. Good physical properties available. We also offer anti-static grades based on carbon. It is also the cheapest in our conductive range.
Silver coated Aluminium filled (PR620 series)
This grade is the military gasket of choice. Lightweight, good temperature range, good EMP resistance.
Nickel coated Graphite filled (PR630 series)
This grade has good all round performance for both commercial and military applications, in moderately corrosive environments and is the material of choice for products requiring a good ‘bite-through’ for electrical contact.
Silver coated Nickel filled (PR640 series)
This grade also has high performance in non-corrosive environments.
Silver coated Glass filled (PR660 series)
This grade has high performance in non-corrosive, commercial environments although it has moderate physical properties.
Silver filled (PR670 series)
This grade, typically used in military applications has the highest shielding and through conductivity, together with improved physical properties and processing. Normally, this is the most expensive grade.
Silver coated Copper filled (PR680 series)
This grade is the material of choice for high-end commercial applications but is used in military applications also. It has a high level of EMP induced current. Excellent performance in non-corrosive environments.
