Unlike most other manufacturers of silicone products, Primasil formulate and mix silicone compounds on site.
We will work with you to identify the material characteristics needed to satisfy the requirements of your product. This will typically depend on the working environment and life expectancy of the part, processing methods, and any financial constraints.
Next, we will formulate a material to exactly match your needs. This gives our customers an important competitive advantage over their competitors, who tolerate ‘as near as we can get it’ alternatives.
Samples will be produced, which will undergo testing either solely in our laboratory, or at your production facility. Based on the outcome of these initial trials, we can further modify the material as many times as is needed. The final compound will be mixed by Primasil technicians with many years’ compounding experience in strict accordance with ISO9001:2008 procedures.
If required, we will deliver the compound to your facility in a pre-formed state so that it can seamlessly enter your manufacturing process.
